Powder and a baby

After ice cold rain off and on for the last few days we woke up to a cloudless sky and white mountains. What a sight. The picture doesn't do it justice. It's funny the mountains look like they grow with snow on them.

J brought home her baby today. It was so strange seeing her with it for the first time. She rang the door bell which she never does and there was my baby girl holding a baby.

It's a teaching baby. Don't fret, I'm not a real Grandma yet. She only gets it for 1 night so she gets a tiny taste of what a baby is like.

I won't be posting until Monday. I'll be at the Orange Co. Scrapbooking expo. If you're there too come say hi. I'll be working all weekend as the cashier in the Down to Details booth.

POTD x2

How was every bodies weekend? Ours here in Sunny Southern California was WET WET WET. It's still raining. On Saturday we went to a double birthday party for my niece and nephew. The kids had so much fun bouncing in the rain. On the way home I took out my camera because I still didn't take my POTD. S said I could take pictures as long as I didn't use the flash. ha ha ha it make me laugh every time I see it.
Yesterday J and got all her dolls ready for Valentines day. I love that she still loves playing with her dolls even though she's 11. We had a great time picking out who was going to wear what. She even got out her salon chair to do all of their hair.
Today I opened up my email to find a picture I took in 2007 was POTD for http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AllAboutDollClothes/
It's of 2 of her American Girl dolls Kit and Laura. J was so excited and very much surprised.

Rain and some Math

Today it has been cold and windy with rain every once in awhile. When I went to go pick up J from school the sky was scary dark on one side and white clouds on the other, I used the stitch function on my camera but I didn't get enough of the dark clouds oh well. scary clouds are comingHere's another picture I took while waiting. I left my car outside this morning and the drops never got a chance to dry.
Now for the math. This is from an email I got today. :

time to breath

Man these last few weeks have been busy, and softball and baseball hasn't even started. I'm glad J is in softball instead of baseball like last year but my life is going to get CRAZY after 2 o'clock. So let's see what has happened lately. tryouts, meetings, family birthdays, science project (luckily only 1) So here is my latest pics for POTD. I have been taking a picture everyday but just haven't posted them.J's tryouts were cancelled so instead of going inside they kids decided to play catch in the dark. I tried to get the moon and Venus. put without a tripod there was just too much shaking for such a distance pic. Now this is a much better pic of the moon. J had a space night at his school and some guys brought their heavy duty telescopes. J's first team meeting was at Ihop. Ours is now open 24 hours. Grocery day. I ended up going to 4 different stores. Luckily they are all on the way to each other. It's all about getting the best deal. Ahh Science project is done and ready to be turned in.
