8 days

It's amazing what just 8 days did to me and my family. I had so many plans and ideas for this blog and then 8 days after my last post my world turned on it's head. Well really it kicked me down and set me on my ass. I don't want to get into the details just yet, but for those who thought I'd just take it and run away, think again. All that has happened has made me stronger and more determined. And best of all my kids know I will always be in their corner and will be working on making 2014 a GREAT year and the rest of our lives for that matter.
I do still have a few ideas for this blog. 1) the name will stay the same. I am Alisha Buggins to those who know me and well my story is the Juice that keeps me going. So Bugg Juice is here to stay.  2) As I've been picking up my life I've realized I have been hording recipe cards but was still making the same old thing so I've decided to try at least 3 new dinners a week.
I hope you join me in this new chapter of my life until then I want to wish you a very blessed new year.

My Glam Bag

I know it will be a great mail day when I see the bright pink bubble envelope in my mail box, because I know it's my Glam Bag from ipsy! I've been getting a Glam Bag for about 9 months now and have finally did a unboxing video. Enjoy

 

5000 Questions

This summer my goal was to clean and organize my scrapbooking room/office. I didn't get as much as I wanted done but I got rid of a lot of stuff. In the process  I found  S's old Franklin Covey. It still had calendar pages in it for Oct-Dec of 2001. But when I found it I immediately wanted to start using it, luckily a few days before I had pinned something about  day planner organization. Here's the link.   From there I found a Filofax group on Facebook. And from there another Filofax group that makes up questions for you to answer about yourself. It was here that someone had asked if anybody had heard of the 5,000 Question Survey. One person had but didn't have the link. Well I found it < Here it is.>. You have to scroll all the way down to start at question 1, as they are grouped by the 100's. I printed up the first 100 questions and plan on putting them in a composition book. I told my kids about my plan and they both wanted me to print out the questions for them too. Whoooohoooo!! I also wanted to start a vlog about it. I hope you join me.

The Taste

Have you guys been watching this new show on ABC called The Taste? I have and I've been loving it. There are home and professional cooks competing but the best part is it's a BLIND  taste test. the cooks get an timed challenge and have to prepare a dish and serve it on a spoon. The judges don't know whose it is and have to judge purely on taste. LOVE LOVE LOVE this idea. I don't know about you but I never liked it when they said so and so made this because you never know if they truly liked the food or the person.
