How was every bodies weekend? Ours here in Sunny Southern California was WET WET WET. It's still raining. On Saturday we went to a double birthday party for my niece and nephew. The kids had so much fun bouncing in the rain. On the way home I took out my camera because I still didn't take my POTD. S said I could take pictures as long as I didn't use the flash. ha ha ha it make me laugh every time I see it.
Yesterday J and got all her dolls ready for Valentines day. I love that she still loves playing with her dolls even though she's 11. We had a great time picking out who was going to wear what. She even got out her salon chair to do all of their hair.
Today I opened up my email to find a picture I took in 2007 was POTD for http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AllAboutDollClothes/
It's of 2 of her American Girl dolls Kit and Laura. J was so excited and very much surprised.
Love the American Girl dolls! My daughter still loves playing with hers, too, and she turned 12 a couple of months ago. After all the money we've spent on them, I hope she continues to play with them into adulthood!
ReplyDeleteSo cute. The American girl dolls! Mine doesn't play with hers anymore...makes me sad...she is only 8...

Love the dolls! I hope we have a lot more doll playing years.
ReplyDeleteLove the dolls, how neat you had your picture used.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a fun and busy weekend. Great captures!
ReplyDeleteLove the dolls...although we have boys and no doll around this house! :) I bet your daughter enjoys them :) Great shots!
ReplyDeleteThe dolls are beautiful and I love your owl on your blog:)
ReplyDeleteLOL on that first one. My DD never got into American Girl so I saved a little $$ there (although I'm sure it got spent in other ways!) Congrats on having your photo on a website!
ReplyDeleteI love the dolls, and how sweet that she plays with them still. It's sad when our daughters finally give them up :(
