Wow it has been way to long for me to be away from here almost 2 years. That's just crazy. So here I am. I'm back. I've made some mighty big goals for this year and I'm hoping this will help motivate me to get the ball rolling.

Coach invited us over for BBQ chicken tonight. YUM YUM YUM. You would have thought I don't feed the kids the way they were attacking it. J ate 4 or 5 legs just on her own, and J was covered with BBQ sauce. Thank you so much dear neighbors we had a great time.

Busy busy

Yesterday was such a crazy day. We started the day off with going shopping for a birthday present. J paid for it himself. Then we went straight to J's baseball game. He even called up G&GM to see if they could come out and watch him. He's been sore for the last few days in one leg and has been walking funny. So when he came up to bat the manager asked him if he just wanted to sit out. He said " NO, I'll hit the ball, run to first, then you can get a pitch-runner for me" Oh I loved it. He hit the ball but it went to the pitcher and he was a lot fast then my little injured player. BUT he ran as hard as he could. His 2nd ups was great too. He hit the ball all the way down the 1st baseline, unfortunately it went foul. He hit it so hard that he could have easily got a double and if he wasn't injured a triple. He stayed alive hitting another foul but then stuck out swinging. SO PROUD OF YOU J!!!!!!

After the game we went to a birthday party at the bowling alley. The kids had a great time even though we were late. Then right after the party we went to walk for 3 hours at the Relay for Life with the Boy Scouts. I did 3 miles, and the kids did 6.

Over the Line. 3 little words that mean so much to our family. Over the line means family, picnics, dreams and of course the Big Inning of baseball season. We all had a great time playing and watching. The rules are simple: bring food to share, bring your game, and hit the ball as hard as you can. This year the Legends lost the first game against the Young Guns. For the second game the teams were a little more mixed. My favorite part of the whole day wasn't when I caught the line-drive hit by my Dad or even when he told me he proud of me. No my favorite part was after J hit the ball my Dad made sure to give J a high 5. Every time I saw it I melted. I never did get a picture of it (kicking myself) but I love that I did get them talking shop in the dugout. Well the kids are in full swing of things. They are back in school after 2 wonderful weeks, and of course softball and baseball is almost every night of the week. Both kids are having a lot of fun. J more than J I think. Her team has only lost one game and that one they only lost by 1. J's team on the other hand is so disorganized, it drives J a little batty. (no pun intended) Here are my kiddos at play:

Disneyland

So, the kids have been on Spring Break no since Mon. and they still have another week to go. What are we going to do for 2 weeks you ask. Well we decided to get annual passes to Disneyland. Why Disneyland. Well for 1 it's the happiest place on Earth. 2 For the price of a vacation they are about the same, and now we can go almost anytime we want. 3 Disney has this deal now that for your birthday you get to go free!!! Well that sounds good but that means we would still have to shell out $200 per birthday just so we could go as a family. So $800 later we would be thinking we should have bought the passes. So needless to say yesterday we shelled out $1135 for 4 passes. We had to end up getting the Deluxe pass because the other 2 CA passes suck. You can't go at all during the summer and 2 of our 4 birthdays were blocked. Hello. So now on our birthdays we get a $65 gift card to be used that day. No problem, we could do that. So who else wants to join us at Disneyland.

The laundry just stopped so I'll be brief ;-) I did a couple of pages from our vacation in 2003. I also found some pictures from June that I had overlooked. So here you go Us in 2003:
I used another kit from DownToDetails. It's of us on the Hoover Dam. Wish I took a better pic of it but if you click on it it will be bigger for you. I was so glad I had missed these pics earlier, because now I LOVE how the LO turned out. CateroryStories has a contest right now for using the word Precious. What a great opportunity for me to express my love for my kidos. I also used a sketch from ScrapbookDeals4U.

Ahhh, I'm been crazy busy at the school with our Pirate dances. So much fun for all but I had to deal with so many people who didn't want to pay. I know times are hard but $3 for everybody isn't bad at all. We had whole families come when it was just for Mom and her son(s) or for Dad and his daughter(s). Maybe next year we'll just fo a FAMILY dance. We already picked the theme of a Mascarade Ball so it would be a lot of fun for the whole family.

As you can see I changed my background and changed the music. I don't know what it is about Celtic music it must be the beat but it got my mojo going. I did 3 pages and a card this weekend. I'll post a few of my POTD's I haven't forgoten about them I just haven't had time to post them.

Powder and a baby

After ice cold rain off and on for the last few days we woke up to a cloudless sky and white mountains. What a sight. The picture doesn't do it justice. It's funny the mountains look like they grow with snow on them.

J brought home her baby today. It was so strange seeing her with it for the first time. She rang the door bell which she never does and there was my baby girl holding a baby.

It's a teaching baby. Don't fret, I'm not a real Grandma yet. She only gets it for 1 night so she gets a tiny taste of what a baby is like.

I won't be posting until Monday. I'll be at the Orange Co. Scrapbooking expo. If you're there too come say hi. I'll be working all weekend as the cashier in the Down to Details booth.

How was every bodies weekend? Ours here in Sunny Southern California was WET WET WET. It's still raining. On Saturday we went to a double birthday party for my niece and nephew. The kids had so much fun bouncing in the rain. On the way home I took out my camera because I still didn't take my POTD. S said I could take pictures as long as I didn't use the flash. ha ha ha it make me laugh every time I see it.
Yesterday J and got all her dolls ready for Valentines day. I love that she still loves playing with her dolls even though she's 11. We had a great time picking out who was going to wear what. She even got out her salon chair to do all of their hair.
Today I opened up my email to find a picture I took in 2007 was POTD for http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AllAboutDollClothes/
It's of 2 of her American Girl dolls Kit and Laura. J was so excited and very much surprised.

Rain and some Math

Today it has been cold and windy with rain every once in awhile. When I went to go pick up J from school the sky was scary dark on one side and white clouds on the other, I used the stitch function on my camera but I didn't get enough of the dark clouds oh well. Here's another picture I took while waiting. I left my car outside this morning and the drops never got a chance to dry.

Man these last few weeks have been busy, and softball and baseball hasn't even started. I'm glad J is in softball instead of baseball like last year but my life is going to get CRAZY after 2 o'clock. So let's see what has happened lately. tryouts, meetings, family birthdays, science project (luckily only 1) So here is my latest pics for POTD. I have been taking a picture everyday but just haven't posted them.J's tryouts were cancelled so instead of going inside they kids decided to play catch in the dark. I tried to get the moon and Venus. put without a tripod there was just too much shaking for such a distance pic. Now this is a much better pic of the moon. J had a space night at his school and some guys brought their heavy duty telescopes. J's first team meeting was at Ihop. Ours is now open 24 hours. Grocery day. I ended up going to 4 different stores. Luckily they are all on the way to each other. It's all about getting the best deal. Ahh Science project is done and ready to be turned in. If you stuck around this long thank you, if not I totally understand.

Yep if you heard a squeal earlier today that was me. I just won on the Making Memories blog I still can't believe it. I was LUCKY #7. So here they post that I'm the winner and to email them so I click to write them and BAM my computer freezes and won't let me do anything. I shut it down waited turned it back on again all I got was a white screen turn it off again wait turn in on. Finally it's up and running it only took 30 min. So my POTD is the MM screen. THANK YOU SO MUCH MM YOU ROCK!!!

What a fun day at CHA. 4 other girlfriends and myself spent the day looking at all the fun new papers and gadgets. I am loving the new fonts for the Slice. I must have them!!! The highlight that J is so mad about. I met Darth Vader. We were waiting to get in and he and his men stood right behind us. Needless to say all the ladies pulled out their cameras and trampled by us to take a picture with them. I took my picture with them while waiting to do the make-and-take by Teresa Collins . Oh so much fun!!! Can't wait to finish it with my pictures and bling.

J is now a BOY SCOUT!!!! So proud of our little guy. He received his Arrow of Light and crossed over to Boy Scouts last night. What a fun filled night. J can't wait to start going to his new meetings on Tuesday.

Today I signed both kids to play ball. This is J's first year of softball. Last year she played baseball, but most of her friends play soft ball so she got talked onto playing with them. Hoping she can handle going from assistant captain to being a newbie. J signed up for baseball again. Fingers crossed we get the same coach as last year.

After we stopped for lunch we came home and the kids relaxed while I put in my new printer. Now I have to clean my room. I just looked at the time realized I didn't take a pic. yet so here's the movie they've been watching all day. Most likely I won't post tomorrow, I'll will Monday as long as I don't do another day at CHA.

Fun Girls Day

Today J didn't have any school, but J did. So after V came over they ate breakfast we headed over to their school for Parent/teacher conferences. V asked of I wanted to see the Gum tree. It's cool. The whole school knows about it. I also took a few shots for the photo scavenger group I'm in. Raindrops in puddle. After the school I had to drive out to Redlands to buy a Boy Scout hat, belt and book for J. took a few detours on this trip for more scavenger photos. Church Bell, The word PARK, a pig, a bird with Blue on it, fruit stand, a fountain Now I have to go get ready for J's big night.

015/365 Tonight is Bunco Night. The theme was "Unwanted Christmas Gift" We had so much fun S came to. Thanks to him we were the big winners. we won $55.

016/365 Let's do our Nails 38x- Yep 38 bottles of nail polish. I don't know why so many, but J loves to do her nails, so we are always looking for a new color. Our newest find was a metallic purple.

017/365 Santa Ana River-Today was so much fun the kids and I went for a hike. We went to one park that I thought the river was at but it wasn't. No loss the kids had fun playing. Then we went to the Nature Center. Right place but we didn't go far enough. I really wanted the kids to see the river so as we were driving over it on the freeway, I pulled over and took a few shots still in the car.( I didn't want to get out and look like a crazy person).

Busy Busy Busy

Today was so busy. After the kids got off to school. I just had enough time to jump in the shower, and get ready for a full day of PTA jobs. We had Pizza w/ the Principle. Yep I got on the bus with 50 kids. That was fun. Then we had to take down the Christmas decoration in the MPR (the kids just went back to school yesterday). After we figured out the mess on the stage, we had a PTA meeting. Love those. They always go for so long. I got home at 5 and all I wanted to do was relax. J said I could play Guitar Hero. Thanks. We made a deal I wouldn't practice while she was at school. Like I have the time, but it made her happy to know I would get better. I started to make dinner and now we are just waiting for S to get home. Tomorrow I want to try and get some Scrapbooking done. And maybe play some Guitar Hero with the kids. EDITED to add J and i got to play some GH. S even tried 1 song.

First day of School

The kids went back to school today. What a nice long Christmas vacation they had. It was wired not having them home. It was quiet of course but it was also windy today so it sounded like a ghost town. Jingle (our dog) was happy when the kids came home, but she was getting mad at them when they started their homework right away instead of playing with her. I was going to take a picture of the schools, or the kids doing homework but instead I chose the American flag. We are so blessed to be able to have our children go to school. Sure the schools don't have any money. But still, where would we be without knowledge.

If you couldn't figure it out today is my Mom's birthday. We went over to celebrate after Mass this afternoon. We were surprised to see other family there as well. 3 of her sisters and 2 of my cousins were there too. What a fun surprise for us all. I don't have a title for today. I guess it's because we did and still have to do so many different things today. J had a friend spend the night so lots of Nerf and Light Saber battles were fought. J went out to ride her bike already 3 times today. When S comes home from work we'll be taking the tree down and packing all the Christmas things away for another year. We still have to go shopping, and make cards. I did scrapbook a little, but nothing is done maybe later on tonight. Now I'm off to fold clothes.

Leap Leap

Today was nice and quiet. J went to her friend's house and was there for most of the day. So J and I ran a few errands. First to return tickets to Office Max, then to Walmart to pick up diced tomatoes and beans. Can you guess what we had for dinner? I added them to chicken and rice. Yummy. After walmart we headed to the library to find information on dry ice. J is doing his science project on dry ice and so we need to research it. Let me tell you THEY HAD NOTHING. Walking out of the library I got my POTD. J was trying to clear the obstacle they have so a car doesn't drive into the building. It's blurry but hey I can't complain I just had enough time to grab the camera, aim and shoot.

Arrow Board

Well today's the day we made J's Arrow Board. He is getting is

Arrow of Light on the 23rd of this month and today was the only I was willing to drive out to Redlands. It's another beautiful day here. Not a cloud on the sky. Windows rolled down. I wish I had stopped to take pictures but I knew I wanted the board to be today's POTD. We grab the extra patches for the board and head on home. J was very excited I never got around to sewing all of his patches onto his jacket. See it helps to procrastinate. He arranged them how he wanted them and stared to glue them all down. I think it looks great if you ask me. He still wants to add the pins he has earned and then loops for his arrow. Wow I can't believe my little guy is going to be a Boy Scout in a couple of weeks.

Beautiful Day

It's another beautiful day here in Sunny CA. The kids were still in their PJ's eating lunch so I sent them outside to walk the dog. Little did I know the kids had other plans. They gave the dog a bath and then took her outside for her walk to dry. They also decided to stay outside and play a game of Guess Who. I was at my computer Reading blogs when I looked out my window I saw them being oh so cute.

12th day of Christmas

Today's the 12th day of Christmas. How did we celebrate it here? J had his friend come over and they had many little mini wars. If it wasn't with their new Nerf guns it was with Light-Sabers. J also got involved. They tried to get me too but I started to take down all our Christmas decorations. The only thing left up is the bare tree. While the kids switched house to play at I went to Target to buy the new American Girl movie for J. While there I saw they still had Christmas stuff now at 90% off. They had some trees that nobody seemed to be looking at. I grabbed a box and scanned it. $2.49 NO WAY!!! I got 3 6ft trees. Don't know exactly were 2 of them are going to go maybe the front porch but for that price I wasn't going to think too much of placement.

Thinking now on my POTD I should have shot a tree, but I shot left out ammo. It's great to have the kids "play" still. I don't know how much longer they are going to be willing to be KIDS.

A Nice Lazy Day

You ever have one of those days were you did some work around the house and then decided to take the rest of the day off. That's what we did. The kids woke up and continued playing a Monopoly game they started the night before and I did a load of laundry and emptied out the dishwasher. They then took Christmas out of their bathroom. It felt like we did a lot so we took a little break. J played his Dinosaur King and J when to a friends house. I started to play on the computer but it decided to freeze so I started a scrapbook page.

J and her friend came back over here and were hanging out in her room coloring and talking. You know how pre-teens talk. They want to be so cool yet they are still little kids. I loved it. So today's picture is of DD coloring in her High School Musical activity book that she got from Grandma E. -

Monopoly

Yesterday, Jan. 4 2009 we had a great Monopoly match between Grandpa and J. It is a well known fact in our family that Grandpa is very competitive when it comes to Monopoly. He doesn't care about your age he will take you down. The kids are also very competitive, so when we got the Electrical Monopoly for Christmas J was excited to play Grandpa. He brought it with him to Grandpa and Grandma's house on New Year's Day. But Football was the only thing on all the other guy's minds. Grandma called on Sat and said they were sorry they never got to play Monopoly and that they wanted to get together on Sun. So they came over to our house after Mass. Grandpa took a power nap while the kids and Grandma made chocolate chip cookies. As soon as the cookies were done he was ready to play. We were going to play the new electronic Monopoly but I never did read the rules on how it works so we played the Here and Now version. Grandpa bought the first houses and it was down hill from then on. J was doing great too. We all tried to land on J to die but we all ended landing on Grandpa's infamous hotels. The game ended with just Grandpa and J going head to head, but since we all landed on Grandpa he had almost all the properties. Poor J fought a good fight rolling doubles a few times to escape but you can't mess with a power nap. J ended up landing on the horrible property that we all met our fate at. What a good game! A rematch was already been mentioned, but Grandpa isn't allowed a power nap.

What to do What to Do

Today it was sprinkling off and on, so the kids and I stayed in for most of the day. J and I did venture out when Jingle wanted to go for a walk. I took a few pictures but they came out better in my head then on film. J stayed in all day building his Star Destroyer. It's cool if you're into that sort of thing. He want to have if flying in his room when he's done.

I was going to take another picture of J building today but I just took his picture for day 1 so I wanted to try and take something different but just as meaningful. Like I said before I went outside I saw a tree that had all it's leaves surrounding it on the grass very cool in person, On film the house in the background took away from the shot. I saw a lone flower in our yard, took the picture-Nope So I took a picture of our new windsock. I just love angels. Protectors. This one is playing it's trumpet. Can you hear it.

I'm a bad mom

Well today I've been the bad evil mom. I'm having the kids clean their rooms. Evil right. They have so much stuff it drives me nuts. I hate stepping on stuff when I walk in their rooms. I told them that if I step on anything it's going into the trash or to Salvation Army.

Before I unleashed my evil punishment I took a picture of our growing chart. I normally mark how much the kids have grown on their birthdays and on New Years. Well I forgot yesterday until they were already asleep in bed so this morning they got another mark on the wall.

Well it's a new year. Prayers to you and your for a peaceful and joyous 2009. We celebrated the ending of 2008 by staying home and watching some Iron Man and The Hulk. They ended just in time to have J watch the Jonas Brothers sing and to watch the ball drop.

This year started off early by heading off to Mass, grabbing a few things at Albertsons and then heading out to my folks' place. The boys watched football of course and my mom and I cooked. I made the best pumpkin-cheesecake muffins and my mom made a tex mix. It was perfect first day of the year food. B, I, and A also came over. after we ate we took the kids outside to play at "the park". They all had tons of FUN. J even conquered his fear of heights by sliding down the fire pole. WAY TO GO BIG GUY.

Okay as far as resolutions go of course I want to get in better shape and loose weight. No big surprise there. I think I did good today I only drank water, ate only 1 muffin and had a big salad w/o any dressing with my chili. But this year I also want to try and take 1 picture a day. like I said try. I know I'll sure to miss a few days even weeks but I want to capture a 2009 in a different way. So today at the park I took a few pictures::

ITt's Beggining to Look a Lot Like Christmas

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping paper for sure. I hate bags at Christmas. Maybe if I get crazy I'll even use some fabric.
2. Real tree or Artificial? I bought our Artificial tree last year. Both kids also have one in their rooms. We do have a live tree that we got our first year here, I've yet to decorate it. Maybe I can do that this weekend.
3. When do you put up the tree? Normally first part of December
4. When do you take the tree down? After the 12 days of Christmas.
5. Do you like eggnog? Nope, not a fan.
6. Favorite gift received as a child? All I can think of is a huge Christmas activity book. I used that thing for years.
7. Hardest person to buy for? My brothers
8. Easiest person to buy for? Juliet
9. Do you have a nativity scene? Yes, we have 3 out.

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? With 5 other brothers and sister money was tight. One year I got socks, underwear and a manicure set. Gota say thou it makes you appreciate the small stuff and as a parent now where money is tight I know how my parents felt, and hey who doesn't need socks and underwear.

Yeah I'm back

It's been crazy here. I've been working at the school all week on our Santa's Breakfast. Yep we're not PC. I was in charge of ticket sales. Out of the 800+ kids we have we pre-sold 503 tickets. Yep that was a fun job.

On Sunday the fam. drove up to Vegas so that J and I could see Mama Mia. I had wanted to see it so when S got free tickets he let me take J with me. While he and the other J went to Excalaber and the Luxor. J won lots of games including hitting all the jars off the box. Very cool.

Well of you haven't been watching the weather it's crazy. We woke up Monday to SNOW in VEGAS Crazy I tell ya. It didn't snow that much just a few flakes. Our plan was to go up the Efile Tower for a view of the strip. Well that was shot down due to ice. So the kids and I had a nice relaxing day while S played. Little did we know down by the Rio it was snowing like crazy. We were leaving on Tuesday to news that the highways were all closed the night before and that it snowed like crazy in Vegas. Where were we? We didn't see any of this. All we saw from our room was the Efile Tower, and the water show at the (sp) Balogio. So like I said we were leaving and just saw whilte on the other side of the freeway.

Another reason for my post is well I've been taged by Clare I chose grade school pictures. So here they are me in Kindergarden and 1st grade:

Well December is in full swing and not slowing down. Both kids had projects to do this week. We're still looking for little green army men for Jt's diaramma. We had both scouts tonight. Jo was late to his, and I had to run to the store to grab a salad for Jt's for their Christmas party. Luckly I already had something for the gift exchange.

Did a couple of LOs this week. Hopefully I can do some more on Sun after Mass. S will be at the church most of the day for Pancake breakfast with the Knights.

Hopefully the tree will go up today. I want to wash the carpets first. fun fun fun.

Are you counting down the days before Christmas. We are. I plan on making a little album of our countdown. On Dec 1st the UPS guy came with 2 boxes and Jingle made him run back to the truck so funny. Well of course he was gone by the time I thought he should be the highlight of the Christmas countdown but luckily we saw a UPS truck at Stater Bros. that night and of course I had my camera with me. I also took a picture of Jingle at the front door. Yesterday I had a really good day with J. I picked him up from school, came home then he asked if his Puffy Cheetos were still on sale, I said that it was the last day and did he think we should get some more. So back in the car we went. At the store he thought it would be a good idea if he got 4 bags and then get another 4 bags of for his sister. I said sure then had handed him a gift card and had him get in a line while I got in a different one, hoping we'd get done at the same time. Nope he was done super quick. I used the gift card to buy the other chips and then back to the car. Well my little guy insisted of taking the cart to the right spot and to open the door for me. Driving home he explained how a cell works and the shapes and everything that has to do with them. I told him I was amazed he retained all that information. He later wrote a page on it and made a cell out of candy that's due Friday. My amazing guy will be day 2 for sure.

I played in my Scrapbook room yesterday instead of facing the stores. I did a whole 2 pages whoo hoo:)

I also bought myself a new camera and printer online at Best Buy. I picked it up today and so far LOVE IT I got to play a little with it today while celebrating my brother's and his son's birthdays. I would have taken a lot more pictures but the battery wasn't fully charged.

While digging for green cardstock I found scraps of the 2 patterns so I punched out circles and this is the end result. Jonathan helped with the placement of the journaling circle, he decided he liked it with the lines not matching up.

Okay before you go see the movie Twilight you need to read the book. I know it's a tween book but I loved it. It's very PG. My DS who's 10 is reading it now but DD who's 11 won't have anything to do with it. I think it's because I told her she could read it. She's very happy reading her Dear America books. So glad she's finally reading those. I tried to get her to read those 2 years ago, but she wouldn't touch them, then this year her English teacher tells her to read harder books and now every couple of weeks she's got a new Dear America to read. THANK YOU MRS. ALICE. Did you know that if you read for an hour a day at your reading level you can actually gain 2 reading levels in 1 year. crazy.

Here is my take on sketch 33 for Triple the Sketch. The background paper is actually 2 sheets of Li'l Davis' Endless Summer line-Sand and Surf paper. The flowers were only on 1 side of the paper, so I cut 1 sheet and pasted it on so it now has a border on the top and bottom. The flower cut outs are also from Li'l Davis' Endless Summer line called Sand Dollar. I've changed the LO since I took it's picture yesterday. I didn't like the title, so I changed it to My Girls and had my DH do the journaling on strips, since he's the one who took the picture.

Well yesterday I added some music a new backround and a Layout ticker. I want to try and do 365 scrapbooking layouts in 2009. I'm so behind I really should do like 1000 but I'd be sad if I didn't reach my goal so 365 it is. Today I'm doing a LO with pictures from the 4th of July from 2003. Yikes, that's more than 5 years behind.

Halloween was fun. the kids were Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker. I'll uplode those pics when next time.

Crazy day

AHHH today has been one of those days you know nothing seems to be going right and then while everything is peaceful and clam bam a phone call from people you don't want to talk to or ugg the dryer is done which means I have to fold or now in my case sort piles. I don't fold clothes that aren't mine anymore. I'm tired of spending hour after hour folding making sure it's all perfect when the people who I'm folding for just stuff their clothes in a drawer or better yet put their clothes on the floor because they didn't have time before bed to put it all away. I now just lay out their shirts and and other piles on their beds and they can deal with wrinkles. because I'm tired of it.

Wow I went off on a tangent there --didn't mean to do that I was going to say we have a busy night here. Both kids have scouts at yes the same time, different places of coarse and DH isn't all to happy that he has to take DS. I don't get it, he wonders why the kids aways come to me even if I busy and he's sitting not doing a thing. This is why dude . Alright enough for now off to scouts

Disney

We had a great time at Disneyland on Sunday. We were lucky to get 4 free tickets. It was such a magical day. Our longest line was almost an hour for only 3 of the rides. Not too shabby. Now I get to scrapbook all the pictures I took. I didn't realize at the time but I took almost 200 pictures. CRAZY. I was wondering why the battery light kept coming on. Here's one of the last ones from our day.

Okay I've had this account now for awhile and finally here's a post.

Let's see... Today we had an earthquake. I knew we were due for one, it was just a matter of time. We were at the movie theater when it happened. The lights were going down, the sound was going on and then a little rumble. At first I thought it was the AC because it lasted a long time, but then I got a call from DH asking if we were okay. I guess it was a centered about 25 min from us and was felt in Vegas. But we were perfectly fine so was Kuhn Fu Panda.

Summer vacation is almost over. The kids go back to school in 2 weeks. Yikes. My baby is going to Middle school. Did I say YIKES yet?!?!?! praying everything will go smoothly.

Dh will be on vacation starting this Friday. The kids want to go to the Titanic museum in Vegas so we'll be there for the weekend. So cool that both kids want to go learn something while on Vacation. Dh doesn't mind having to go to Vegas either. I on the other hand hate the heat. Yep HATE it.
